Christian Book Review: "Redeeming Love" by Francine Rivers - H

Image
Photo via Pinterest My favorite lines from the book. 💘 So powerful! Hello (again) beautiful people! Today I am bringing you something new and special: a book review! I am so excited to tell you guys all about this book. You know how sometimes something happens to you, and you just know it was from God as a little reminder that yeah, He's still there and He still cares? That's what this book was for me. It came to me at a time in my life when I was feeling very broken, lost, and uncertain how to continue. But God was looking out for me. He's always looking out for all of us. (And let me just tell you that looking out for me alone is a full-time job because I am the exact definition of a handful. 😂 So God must definitely know what He's doing to be able to look out for all of us at once!) Okay, enough rambling. The book I will be reviewing for you all today is called Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers. *Now insert book's back cover description* 😉 Califo

My New Year's Resolutions - H

Photo via Pinterest Translation: And you . . . what have you done to accomplish your dreams? Hello beautiful people! I hope you are having a wonderful first few weeks of your year! 😁 Any New Year's Resolutions? I have a couple, and they're BIG. I still enjoy partaking in the annual tradition of resolutions, even though the popularity is dying down. A friend of mine once told me he doesn't do New Year's Resolutions because he believes a person shouldn't wait a whole year to change, and he's right. But I don't know, there's just something about the beginning of the year that fills me with motivation--like how I feel sitting in front of a blank piece of paper, about to start drawing or writing. There is so much possibility floating about in the air! But you need to find the motivation to reach out and grab it! That's why I make New Year's Resolutions: to motivate myself going into the New Year. I thought I'd take a moment to share

Dear 2018 - H

Picture credits: pinterest.com Hello beautiful people, and Happy New Year! I wouldn't normally consider myself to be the most sentimental person in the world, but the New Year always manages to make me nostalgic. 2018 especially was a year of big things for me. Lots of stuff happened in my life . . . good and bad, unfortunately. But as a writer, I find that no matter how good or bad a story is, there must always be closure. And so now I bring you a letter . . . Dear 2018, If there was one word I would use to describe you, it would be change. Never before has my life changed so much and so quickly than in the year 2018. There were many milestones: my eighteenth birthday, my first prom, my first friend breakup, my graduation from high school, my first kiss, my first semester in college. I also traveled far and wide, from the Dominican Republic all the way to New York City. I laughed and I cried. I grew closer to some people and farther from others. I felt pain like I'
